The Park Farm Wedding Photography - featuring my favourite images from this stunning venue.
This venue is brilliant because it’s a blank canvas – it gives you the freedom to create exactly what you want for your wedding day.
It’s a family owned, working farm surrounded by 300 acres of beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. You can use it just as the venue and arrange all your own suppliers – set up tents for your guests, hire and decorate your own marquee or teepee, choose the caterers you want, and the music you like. Or you can host the reception in the farm’s marquee and barns, pick and choose from their list of suppliers but bespoke other parts of the day.
There’s a church on the neighbouring farm and one in the village, so you could have a religious service and then come back to the farm for the party afterwards or have a registrar perform the service on site. There’s a big red farm bus and driver for hire which you can use to ferry your guests around. You can even hire tractors for the wedding party if you want to make an entrance that’s slightly different.
However you want to play it, the Perkins family who own the farm are really flexible. I’ve always found them friendly, warm and welcoming – they just want to help make your day as special as it can be.
I’ve photographed weddings at Park Farm where guests have camped in the grounds, had outdoor picnics and barbies with chill-out areas dotted around – it’s got a really relaxed feel to it. In fact, it’s the perfect location for a festival-themed wedding day.
In terms of photography, the views and backdrops are stunning and I’ve been lucky enough to make the most of some spectacular sunsets. The venue offers two days’ exclusive hire for you and your guests, and they can discount for mid-week and out of season weddings.
